We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to join our Client Guidelines, Data and Documentation team as a Guideline Monitoring Pre-Trade Analyst. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that client, regulatory and internal guidelines are consistently applied across our funds, helping to maintain the highest standards of compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring client, regulatory and internal guidelines within pre-trade systems such as Bloomberg AIM
  • Reviewing and validating pre-trade alerts, ensuring accuracy and appropriate escalation where required
  • Investigating and challenging alerts that may breach established guidelines
  • Coding new compliance rules and updating existing rules within pre-trade systems
  • Maintaining and improving pre-trade processes with a focus on efficiency, consistency and automation
  • Providing support and guidance to colleagues on coding queries and compliance system usage
  • Building effective relationships with fund managers and wider stakeholders to resolve monitoring issues
  • Producing and contributing to management information and reporting for distribution across the business

Qualifications

  • Experience in trade compliance, investment monitoring or a related area
  • Strong understanding of investment processes, financial markets and asset types
  • Working knowledge of Bloomberg AIM, Charles River or similar compliance systems
  • Solid Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret data
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to interpret complex guidelines and apply them accurately in a practical context
  • Proactive and solution-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality work to deadlines
