Join Legal & General’s Corporate Affairs team as a PR Manager focused on Campaigns & Retail PR. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver strategic communications for our DC & Workplace Savings business – a key commercial priority. You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team, helping to enhance our reputation and support business growth through impactful storytelling and media engagement.

What you\'ll be doing:

  • Managing the delivery of the strategic PR plan in collaboration with the Senior PR Manager and external agencies
  • Overseeing the PR calendar and aligning activity with marketing and social media teams
  • Supporting day-to-day press activity, including identifying opportunities and handling media enquiries
  • Drafting and editing compelling content such as press releases, articles and social media posts
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to source engaging content
  • Monitoring the news agenda to identify proactive and reactive media opportunities
  • Evaluating the impact of PR campaigns and supporting the implementation of the social media strategy
  • Ensuring all communications are compliant with regulatory and data protection requirements

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a PR role, ideally within an agency or regulated environment
  • Strong media relations skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities
  • Excellent writing and proofreading abilities with a keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of pensions, retirement, or financial services is desirable
  • Familiarity with social media and digital platforms and their role in PR
  • A creative, adaptable mindset with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed
  • A genuine interest in current affairs and a passion for impactful communication
