Job Description

We’re looking for a People Data Design Lead to play a key role in shaping how people data supports transformation across HR. This is a unique opportunity to combine data expertise with change and stakeholder engagement, working across a range of complex initiatives that impact how the organisation operates. You’ll work at the heart of HR transformation, ensuring data design, reporting and governance are aligned to business objectives, regulatory expectations and great user outcomes. This role suits someone who enjoys influencing decisions, working collaboratively and bringing clarity to complex data challenges.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the delivery of HR change initiatives by defining and shaping people data requirements
  • Designing data models, reporting frameworks and data solutions aligned to enterprise principles
  • Analysing and interpreting complex datasets to inform decision-making and design choices
  • Partnering with HR, change and technical teams to align data design with business processes and operating models
  • Identifying data risks, gaps and dependencies and driving appropriate mitigation
  • Facilitating stakeholder workshops and gathering requirements across multiple initiatives
  • Influencing and challenging stakeholders to ensure effective and practical data-led decisions
  • Supporting the development of reporting and self-service solutions that meet user and programme needs

Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience delivering data or transformation initiatives, ideally within HR or people data environments
  • Strong understanding of data design, data governance and reporting principles
  • Proven ability to work across multiple projects and manage competing priorities
  • Experience engaging and influencing a range of stakeholders across business and technical teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting ideas and challenging constructively
  • Experience working with tools such as Excel, Oracle reporting or similar platforms (desirable)
  • Awareness of emerging technologies such as AI, automation or machine learning in a data context (desirable)

Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:

  • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
  • Generous pension contribution
  • Life assurance
  • Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
  • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
  • Competitive family leave
  • Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
  • There are many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
  • We’re creating net-zero carbon workplaces by 2030 by investing in our sustainable, modern offices across the UK, all designed to bring people together and elevate the in-person experience
