Job Description
Are you an experienced investment compliance professional with a passion for translating complex investment guidelines into robust technology solutions? We're looking for a Senior Guideline Coding Analyst to join a high-profile strategic transformation programme, playing a key role in the migration of investment compliance monitoring onto a new Charles River platform. This is an opportunity to work across global teams, influence critical business outcomes, and help shape the future operating model of a leading asset management business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Reviewing and recoding investment compliance rules within the Charles River Investment Management System
- Analysing investment guidelines and prioritising coding activities to support programme delivery
- Logging and tracking data gaps, escalating issues where rules cannot be fully coded
- Performing validation testing to ensure coding outputs align with business and regulatory requirements
- Conducting comparisons between strategic and legacy compliance monitoring systems to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborating with fund managers, traders, technology teams, consultants and external vendors across global locations
- Contributing to the development and documentation of coding standards, procedures and violation management processes
- Supporting programme governance by providing updates on progress, risks, issues and deliverables
Who we’re looking for:
- Significant experience within investment management, with a strong focus on investment compliance
- Proven expertise working with Charles River and/or State Street investment management platforms
- Experience implementing and testing investment guideline rules and comparing strategic solutions with legacy environments
- Strong understanding of data structures, system integrations and how compliance monitoring platforms utilise data
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage confidently across business and technology teams
- Experience working within large-scale transformation, migration or change programmes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence would be advantageous
Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:
- The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
- Generous pension contribution
- Life assurance
- Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
- At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
- Competitive family leave
- Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
- There are many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
- We’re creating net-zero carbon workplaces by 2030 by investing in our sustainable, modern offices across the UK, all designed to bring people together and elevate the in-person experience
