We're looking for a proactive and collaborative Senior Business Analyst to join our Group Functions Change team. You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering change across Legal & General, supporting complex programmes and discovery initiatives that help the organisation achieve its goals. This is an opportunity to lead meaningful analysis work, contribute to strategic decision-making, and support the development of our wider Business Analysis community.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading requirements elicitation and analysis activities across multi-workstream projects
- Defining business problems and opportunities and shaping the approach to business analysis
- Planning, executing and managing business analysis activities and resources
- Evaluating proposals and solutions to ensure alignment with divisional roadmaps and business needs
- Reviewing and assuring the quality of analysis deliverables from internal teams and third parties
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders and senior leaders to support informed decision-making
- Developing and improving processes and systems to deliver a consistent, customer-focused service
- Coaching and supporting less experienced analysts to help them deliver high-quality work
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar senior business analysis role within transformation or change environments
- Strong capability in business analysis techniques including requirements elicitation, modelling and solution assessment
- Ability to critically evaluate business proposals, identify risks and provide clear recommendations
- Skilled in producing high-quality documentation, process models and analysis outputs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills with the confidence to influence effectively
- Experience working in continuous improvement environments and contributing to change initiatives
- Ability to coach, mentor and provide guidance to analysts at different levels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant BA tools, plus recognised business analysis qualifications (e.g. CCBA, CBAP, BCS International Diploma, Six Sigma Green Belt)
