Job Description
Are you ready to take the next step in your career and move into a first-line investment role? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Structured Finance-focused (ABS, CMBS and/or Structured Credit) rating analyst from a credit rating agency (or equivalent) to join our team. You’ll provide expert advice on credit rating matters to optimise rating outcomes and risk-adjusted returns, while helping shape internal rating criteria for new asset classes. Our work spans multiple asset classes and industries, with a strong focus on long-term, sustainable investments. If you’re motivated, collaborative, and passionate about structured finance, we’d love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Advising investment origination teams on credit rating considerations
- Applying securitisation techniques and structured finance methodologies
- Using asset and liability models to derive credit rating outcomes
- Optimising rating and risk-adjusted return outcomes across transactions
- Reviewing and replicating rating agency methodologies
- Developing internal rating criteria for emerging asset classes
- Building and refining proprietary rating models for complex structures
- Collaborating with colleagues to deliver innovative structuring solutions
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
- Deep understanding of securitisation techniques and structured finance ratings methodologies
- Strong financial modelling skills with experience in complex rating models
- Experience in fund finance or project finance is also advantageous
- Ability to think creatively across asset classes and rating methodologies
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Highly motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented approach
- Quantitative academic background or equivalent practical experience
Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:
- The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
- Generous pension contribution
- Life assurance
- Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
- At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
- Competitive family leave
- Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
- There are the many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
- In 2023, some of our workspaces were redesigned. Our offices are great spaces to connect and collaborate and have your wellbeing at the heart

Guided by leaders with integrity who care about your future and wellbeing. Empowered through initiatives which support people to develop their careers and excel.
