We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead Supplier Relationship Manager to join our team and partner closely with our Asset Management business. This is a high-impact leadership role, operating at Senior Leadership Team and Group Management Committee level, where you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping supplier strategy and driving excellence across middle and back-office outsourcing.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the supplier relationship management agenda and aligning it with business strategy and transformation objectives
- Driving programmes of change to embed best practice and deliver successful supplier and organisational performance
- Coaching and developing team members to foster a high-performance culture and role-modelling SRM excellence
- Overseeing governance across the full contract lifecycle, including negotiation, performance management, and exit planning
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support contract negotiations and renewals for in-scope suppliers
- Managing escalated disputes to ensure timely resolution with minimal operational impact
- Developing and delivering processes and systems that enhance service consistency and customer experience
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies while achieving business objectives
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- Extensive experience in asset management and strategic outsourcing relationships
- Proven expertise in supplier relationship management and SRM best practices
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver robust commercial outcomes
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at executive and board level
- Strategic mindset with excellent business and financial planning capabilities
- Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Degree-level qualification (preferably in business, economics, supply chain) or equivalent experience
