We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and inspire a talented team of engineers. In this role, you will apply your software engineering expertise to guide the team in delivering high-quality, high-value solutions for our customers. You will take a strategic view across adjacent teams to identify opportunities for greater alignment and standardisation, helping to strengthen our engineering practices and outcomes. Additionally, you will use your peopleâleadership skills to foster continuous learning, growth, and development within the team.
What youâll be doing:
- Delivering handsâon React Native solutions for at least one largeâscale commercial project
- Applying strong JavaScript and TypeScript expertise gained through web or backend development
- Leveraging a deep understanding of React and its core architectural concepts
- Building RESTâbased microservices using JVM (Spring) or Node.js
- Implementing mobile application architecture best practices such as MVP, MVVM, and Flux
- Adopting clean code and clean architecture principles, including SOLID and Onion Architecture
- Contributing effectively as a technical team member by delivering maintainable features, conducting highâquality code reviews, and solving complex technical challenges
- Guiding and mentoring colleagues to support their technical growth and ongoing development
Qualifications
Who weâre looking for:
- Proven handsâon experience with React Native on at least one largeâscale commercial project
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience gained from either web or backend development
- Deep understanding of React and its core concepts
- Experience developing RESTâbased microservices using JVM (Spring) or Node.js
- Solid grasp of mobile application architecture best practices (e.g., MVP, MVVM, Flux)
- Strong understanding of clean code and clean architecture principles (e.g., SOLID, Onion Architecture)
- Demonstrated experience as a technical contributor within a software development team, including delivering maintainable features, performing effective code reviews, and solving complex technical problems
- Experience guiding, coaching, and mentoring colleagues to support their technical growth and development
