We’re looking for a Lead Service Design and Transition Manager to join our Group Finance IT (GFIT) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a small, dedicated team and make a real impact by ensuring our services are designed to meet operational excellence from day one.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading a team of Service Design specialists to deliver consistent, high-quality service design outcomes
  • Defining and maintaining a repeatable Service Design Framework aligned to project needs
  • Overseeing compliance with Service Transition governance and escalating risks appropriately
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
  • Driving standardisation, automation, innovation and continuous improvement across service design processes
  • Forecasting and managing Service Design demand across portfolios and projects
  • Ensuring timely delivery of service support artefacts including procedures, tooling and knowledge
  • Developing and implementing a roadmap for capability maturity and process improvement

Who we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in leading service design and transition within a complex IT environment
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, particularly Service Design and Transition
  • Experience managing and developing a small team of IT professionals
  • A good understanding of Agile and Waterfall based project delivery
  • Well versed in ITSM platforms - workflows, reporting, CMSB and monitoring/alerting
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment would be a huge plus!
