Job Description
We’re looking for a curious and motivated Junior Discovery Analyst to join our team and help support discovery, analysis and continuous improvement activity across our technology environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, working with data and systems, and collaborating with different teams to understand how technology services, applications and assets are being used across the organisation. You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of stakeholders, tools and processes while developing your analytical and technical capability in a supportive environment. We’re looking for someone who is organised, eager to learn and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting discovery and analysis activity across technology services, applications and assets
- Gathering, reviewing and maintaining technology and operational data
- Assisting with identifying gaps, risks and improvement opportunities across systems and processes
- Collaborating with internal teams to collect and validate information
- Producing reports, dashboards and documentation to support decision-making
- Helping maintain accurate records within asset and discovery management tools
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the team
- Contributing to meetings, workshops and stakeholder discussions
Who we’re looking for:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail and ability to work with data accurately
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders
- Ability to manage priorities and stay organised in a busy environment
- Comfortable learning new systems, tools and processes
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous exposure to technology, operations, asset management or analysis work would be beneficial
Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:
- The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
- Generous pension contribution
- Life assurance
- Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
- At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
- Competitive family leave
- Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
- There are many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
- We’re creating net-zero carbon workplaces by 2030 by investing in our sustainable, modern offices across the UK, all designed to bring people together and elevate the in-person experience
