Job Description
We\βre recruiting for a HR Senior Risk and Governance Manager to join us.
This is a pivotal role where you\βll shape and strengthen the Group HR risk and governance framework, ensuring our people practices are compliant, well-controlled, and aligned with broader organisational goals. If you\βre passionate about embedding robust governance, managing people-related risks, and driving continuous improvement, we\βd love to hear from you.
What you\βll be doing:
- Leading the development and ownership of the Group HR risk and control framework across strategic, operational, financial, and non-financial domains
- Managing the Operational Controls Committee and escalating material risks in line with Group-wide governance
- Ensuring compliance with Group policies and embedding best practices through collaboration with risk and assurance teams
- Overseeing the Group People Risk framework and reporting into governance forums to support informed decision-making
- Defining and maintaining clear HR governance structures, responsibilities, and decision-making mechanisms
- Producing high-quality risk reporting and management information for senior leadership and Group-level forums
- Motivating and developing team members in line with company policies to maximise performance and engagement
- Embedding Conduct Risk principles into daily operations to ensure good customer outcomes and effective control design
Qualifications
Who we\βre looking for:
- Deep understanding of enterprise-wide risk management frameworks, especially within HR and people risk contexts
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance including GDPR, Conduct Risk, and internal control frameworks
- Experience with HR governance structures and integrating data governance and privacy controls across the employee lifecycle
- Proven ability to design and embed HR risk and governance frameworks in complex, matrixed organisations
- Skilled in leading governance forums and ensuring timely escalation and resolution of key risks
- Expertise in producing insightful risk reporting, MI, and KRI dashboards for strategic and regulatory use
- Inclusive leadership style that promotes equity, mitigates bias, and supports diverse talent development
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and lead through change with clarity and empathy
