Responsibilities
- Preparing clear and compliant suitability reports tailored to client circumstances.
- Conducting research across pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning.
- Analyzing client data and risk profiles to inform advice strategies.
- Collaborating with advisers to refine recommendations and clarify client needs.
- Ensuring all advice meets FCA requirements and internal compliance standards.
- Supporting advisers with technical input and evidence-based solutions.
- Explaining our approach to financial advice and ensuring clients understand recommendations.
- Contributing to process improvements and maintaining high governance standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in a paraplanning role producing accurate, compliant reports.
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning.
- Awareness of FCA regulations, including COBS and Consumer Duty principles.
- Ability to interpret client data and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Skilled in using financial planning tools and CRM systems (e.g., Intelligent Office).
- Proven ability to build rapport with advisers and clients.
- Exposure to cashflow modelling and standard planning scenarios.
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII or equivalent experience) is desirable.
