Job Description

We\'re looking for a dynamic and inclusive Head of HR to lead our people strategy across our Retail division.

You\'ll partner with the CEO of Workplace and the leadership team to develop, implement and embed a people strategy which supports the delivery of the business vision and objectives. Working closely with the the HRD Retail, Retail Exec and Retail HR team to develop and deliver the people strategy which enables the delivery of our business strategy.

What you\'ll be doing:

  • Partnering with the senior leadership team, providing proactive support and challenging on all aspects of people and organisation development that contribute to the strategic goals of the business
  • Understanding the business (both across Retail and Workplace), commercially, culturally and strategically in order to develop and embed improvement across employee engagement, development, diversity and inclusion, talent and succession planning, L&D, performance management and resource planning
  • Working with business leaders to shape the culture (in line with L&G organisational purpose, values and behaviours) and ensuring these are brought to life within the business and are meaningful to all teams/individuals
  • Ensuring the business can attract, develop and retain the best people in the market Building workforce plans which include resource, structure and capability considerations to support business growth and delivery
  • Leading the annual cycle of people activity, including pay review; performance calibration and Voice survey for Workplace, and providing oversight across Retail with HRBPs leading the activity
  • Deputising for HRD as and when appropriate
