Job Description
We are recruiting for a Finance Manager- Institutional Retirement to join us. We are offering a competitive base salary. We are growing, and so is our Institutional Retirement Finance team. As our remit expands, we are looking for a Finance Manager who enjoys improving how things work, supporting change, and helping deliver high-quality financial reporting. What you will be doing:
- Driving enhancements to financial processes and tools across the Institutional Retirement Finance team
- Developing a strong understanding of business performance to support consistent and accurate reporting
- Supporting the day-to-day financial accounting processes, including controls, reconciliations and reviews
- Monitoring accounting inputs and coordinating accounting deliverables across the division and Group
- Supporting accounting assessments for new or amended products, reinsurance transactions and asset classes
- Designing and improving processes linked to new business developments and transformation activities
- Collaborating with teams across Finance to ensure high-quality, timely reporting outputs
- Contributing to fair customer outcomes by supporting robust reporting processes and controls
Qualifications
Who we are looking for:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Strong fundamental accounting knowledge, including IFRS reporting
- Experience in financial reporting, technical accounting or audit
- The ability to analyse data, maintain strong internal controls and ensure accuracy
- Experience contributing to change, transformation or process improvement
- Strong communication skills with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
- A collaborative working style, with the ability to build positive relationships
- Curiosity, initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving
