Are you passionate about shaping regulatory change and ensuring customer-focused outcomes? We’re looking for a Technical & Regulatory Consultant to join our Retail Annuities team. This role offers the opportunity to influence product development, support strategic initiatives and ensure our operations remain aligned with regulatory expectations. What you’ll be doing:
- Analysing regulatory and legislative changes impacting Retail Annuities
- Supporting the implementation of compliant processes and procedures
- Providing technical and regulatory guidance to projects and initiatives
- Building strong relationships with operational teams to support change adoption
- Advising on complex queries and complaints with clear informed recommendations
- Embedding Conduct Risk principles into day‑to‑day operations
- Reviewing product performance to ensure alignment with customer needs
- Delivering training and support to ensure accurate adoption of changes
Who we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in regulatory change within financial services
- Strong understanding of FCA regulations and Conduct Risk principles
- Knowledge of annuity products, customer journeys and governance frameworks
- Ability to provide clear technical guidance and influence project delivery
- Experience drafting and reviewing customer and regulatory communications
- Effective relationship‑building across operational and customer service teams
- Familiarity with product performance reviews and customer outcome monitoring
- Relevant pensions or financial services qualification (desirable)
