Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Onboarding Calculations Consultant to join our Award Winning PRT business. As a Senior Onboarding Calculations Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the transition and administration of Defined Benefit Pension schemes. You will be part of a collaborative team, applying technical expertise to complex benefit structures and helping shape the onboarding experience for our clients and members. This is a hybrid working opportunity, allowing you to work between your home and the office to find a work-life balance that works for you.
What you will be doing:
- Calculating individual Defined Benefit quotations and designing tailored communications
- Leading on complex schemes and acting as a subject matter expert for the team
- Reviewing and quality checking benefit calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Managing the end-to-end onboarding process for new Defined Benefit schemes
- Designing and delivering training to support customer understanding and fair treatment
- Facilitating valuation updates, bulk transfers and other scheme activities
- Liaising with internal teams and third parties to ensure smooth transitions and handovers
- Keeping stakeholders informed to support excellent customer outcomes
Qualifications
Who we are looking for:
- Pension qualification such as CII or PMI, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of Defined Benefit Pension schemes and benefit structures
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including GDPR, TCF and HMRC guidelines
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience within a technical pensions environment
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering good outcomes
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively across teams
