We’ve been safeguarding people’s financial futures since 1836, and strive to build a better society, while improving the lives of our customers and creating value for shareholders. We are one of the world’s largest asset managers and provide powerful asset origination capabilities. Together, these underpin our retirement and protection solutions: we are an international player in pension risk transfer, in UK and US life insurance, and in UK workplace pensions and retirement income. Our global asset management business provides our clients and partners with complex, responsible investment solutions, working internationally across public and private markets.

Who we are

We are one of Europe’s largest asset managers and a major global investor across public and private markets. Asset Management is a critical driver of our Group strategy. The business aims to work synergistically with our Institutional Retirement and Retail divisions to benefit our clients and customers, and deliver enhanced shareholder returns. Our investment philosophy and processes are focused on creating value over the long term. We believe that incorporating financially material sustainability criteria, when relevant to our clients, can create value and drive positive change.

Job Description

We’re looking for a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join our Client Service Delivery team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance across a range of financial products, supporting both internal stakeholders and clients with high-quality reporting and data insights. You’ll be joining a collaborative and high-profile area of the business, where accuracy, attention to detail and continuous improvement are highly valued. This role offers exposure to a broad regulatory landscape, including AIFMD, MMFR and UCITS, as well as the opportunity to work closely with teams across Operations, Front Office and Technology.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Executing periodic regulatory reporting processes in line with established procedures and compliance requirements
  • Gathering and validating data from multiple internal teams, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Preparing and submitting regulatory filings, maintaining oversight throughout the reporting lifecycle
  • Performing reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborating with internal teams and third-party providers to address reporting queries and improve data quality
  • Monitoring reporting timelines and ensuring outputs are delivered accurately and in line with service level agreements
  • Reviewing and updating processes, procedures and documentation to support continuous improvement
  • Analysing regulatory updates and supporting the team in responding to changes in requirements

Who we’re looking for:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively
  • Confident working with data, including experience using Excel and handling large datasets
  • Ability to follow structured processes while identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams
  • Previous experience in financial services or a regulated environment is beneficial

Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:

  • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
  • Generous pension contribution
  • Life assurance
  • Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
  • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
  • Competitive family leave
  • Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
  • There are many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
  • We’re creating net-zero carbon workplaces by 2030 by investing in our sustainable, modern offices across the UK, all designed to bring people together and elevate the in-person experience
