We’re recruiting for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our HR team and help foster positive, constructive relationships between our people and the organisation. What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing clear, practical employee relations advice aligned to people policies and procedures
  • Managing and updating accurate employee records within HR systems
  • Handling a range of ER queries and escalating complex matters appropriately
  • Analysing case information to identify themes, risks and improvement opportunities
  • Organising and prioritising workload to meet service level agreements
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the ER team
  • Coaching and guiding managers on core HR processes and best practice
  • Building positive working relationships with stakeholders, HR colleagues and union partners

Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience handling high‑volume HR or employee relations queries across multiple channels
  • A sound understanding of employment legislation and HR policies and procedures
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain processes, risk and options clearly
  • Good judgement and analytical skills when assessing ER case information
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence building trusted relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • A customer‑focused approach with a commitment to fair and consistent outcomes
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience
