Join our Retail Annuities team as a Data Analyst and play a key role in delivering accurate, timely and insightful data that drives decision-making across Pricing and Underwriting, Sales and Distribution, and Customer Services. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your analytical skills will help shape strategies and improve outcomes for our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering high-quality management information that supports effective business decisions.
  • Ensuring consistency in reported data and improving processes in line with our data strategy.
  • Identifying and prioritising business data requirements to enhance reporting and insights.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to respond to ad-hoc information requests efficiently.
  • Building strong relationships across teams and providing guidance on data best practices.
  • Adhering to governance standards and maintaining accurate documentation and user guides.
  • Supporting fair customer outcomes by ensuring accuracy in all customer-related data.
  • Driving continuous improvement in data processes and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with large datasets and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manipulate and transform data to create reliable datasets.
  • Skilled in producing management information using analytical tools.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions including pivot tables and macros.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau (desirable).
  • Knowledge of database technologies like Snowflake and SQL (desirable).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and deliver impact.
