£85,000–£95,000 + Exceptional Bonus + Private Health Insurance + Flexible Working

We're exclusively partnering with one of the UK's most exciting and ambitious legal businesses to appoint a Deputy Head of Conveyancing. This is a rare opportunity to join a well-funded, high-growth firm that is challenging traditional conveyancing by combining exceptional legal expertise with innovative technology and an unwavering commitment to customer experience.

Reporting directly to the Head of Legal Practice, you'll become a key member of the senior leadership team, taking ownership of compliance, governance and operational oversight while helping to build the next generation of a modern conveyancing practice. This is not a role for someone who simply wants to maintain compliance frameworks. We're looking for a leader who understands that outstanding customer outcomes and robust regulatory standards go hand in hand. You'll help create the systems, processes and culture that enable both.

The Head of Legal Practice has been instrumental in the firm's success and is now looking for a trusted deputy to take ownership of much of the compliance and oversight function, allowing them to focus on strategic growth. You'll have genuine influence over how the legal function evolves, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building, improving and leading.

The Opportunity

  • Supporting the Head of Legal Practice with regulatory compliance, governance and risk management.
  • Providing oversight of legal operations to ensure the highest professional and regulatory standards.
  • Developing scalable compliance processes as the business continues to grow.
  • Driving quality assurance and continuous improvement across the conveyancing function.
  • Building and mentoring a high-performing legal team.
  • Working closely with senior leadership to shape the future direction of the business.

About You

We're keen to speak with senior conveyancing professionals who have:

  • Extensive experience within residential conveyancing.
  • A strong background in legal compliance, governance and risk management.
  • Experience leading, mentoring and developing legal professionals.
  • Excellent commercial judgement, balanced with an uncompromising commitment to client outcomes.
  • The confidence to make decisions, challenge existing processes and implement meaningful improvements.
  • A builder's mindset—you'll enjoy creating systems, developing people and helping shape a growing business rather than simply maintaining an established one.

This role will particularly appeal to someone who wants the opportunity to make a genuine impact, working within an entrepreneurial environment where ideas are valued, decisions are made quickly and innovation is encouraged.

Package & Benefits

  • £85,000–£95,000 basic salary.
  • Highly competitive performance bonus with exceptional earning potential.
  • Fully remote working, with the option to work from a London office.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Private health insurance.
  • The opportunity to join an ambitious, technology-driven legal business at a key stage of its growth.
  • A genuine chance to influence strategy, build a team and help shape the future of an innovative conveyancing practice.
