Remote Conveyancing Paralegal
£
Quality. Technology. Flexibility. A Better Way to Do Conveyancing.
We're partnering with a fast-growing, forward-thinking residential conveyancing firm that is using technology, smarter processes and a collaborative team structure to change the way property law is delivered.
The firm is built around a simple idea: conveyancing should be simpler, clearer and faster — for clients and the people delivering it.
If you're an experienced conveyancing paralegal looking for greater autonomy, better technology, a sustainable workload and the flexibility of a fully remote role, this could be an excellent next move.
Why This Role Stands Out
This is not a traditional conveyancing environment where paralegals are left to manage overwhelming caseloads with little support.
You'll work within small, collaborative teams, with regular check-ins, structured 1-to-1s, feedback and personalised training.
The firm takes a quality over quantity approach to workload, maintaining sustainable caseloads and giving teams capacity to deal with peaks without compromising client service.
You'll benefit from:
- Sustainable caseloads and a strong focus on work-life balance
- Small, collaborative teams
- Regular support, feedback and development
- Bespoke technology designed around legal teams
- A culture where asking for help is encouraged
- The opportunity to influence how technology and processes develop
- Fully remote working with genuine flexibility
The result? A more manageable workload, better support and the freedom to focus on delivering excellent conveyancing rather than simply processing as many files as possible.
The Role
As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you'll be an integral part of a residential conveyancing team, working alongside lawyers and other paralegals to deliver an excellent client service.
You'll work across freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and remortgages, taking ownership of your matters while working collaboratively with the wider team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Progressing residential sales, purchases and remortgages
- Handling freehold sales with minimal supervision
- Managing most leasehold sale enquiries with minimal supervision
- Managing most freehold purchase enquiries with minimal supervision
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other third parties
- Proactively identifying issues and keeping transactions moving
- Reviewing and responding to enquiries
- Maintaining clear, jargon-free communication
- Using the firm's technology to manage your caseload efficiently
- Identifying and resolving potential issues before they become blockers
- Providing feedback to improve systems and processes
The firm's technology has been developed specifically around its conveyancing process, and legal professionals are encouraged to provide feedback on the tools they use every day.
About you
You'll ideally have:
- Strong experience in residential conveyancing
- Experience handling freehold sales with limited supervision
- Experience dealing with leasehold sale enquiries
- Experience dealing with freehold purchase enquiries
- Confidence communicating with clients and third parties
- A proactive approach to progressing transactions
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Confidence working independently in a remote environment
- An interest in using technology to improve legal work
You don't need to be qualified. This role is suited to an experienced paralegal with strong technical conveyancing skills who is ready to take greater ownership of their work.
Although fully remote, you won't be left alone with a laptop and a pile of files. Regular team check-ins, 1-to-1s and ongoing feedback are built into the firm's approach.
The Culture:
This is a firm deliberately doing things differently.
Rather than chasing maximum utilisation, it takes a sustainable approach to workload, helping teams maintain consistent service levels while giving people room to deal with the unexpected.
Its technology helps allocate work, streamline processes and keep teams informed, while its remote-working model is built around communication, supervision, feedback and development.
There's also a strong culture of transparency and continuous improvement. People are encouraged to share ideas, challenge processes and help shape the future of the business.
The Package
- £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience
- Fully remote – work from anywhere in the UK
- Flexible working hours
- 25 days' holiday + 3 days at Christmas + Bank Holidays
- Full home-working setup and equipment provided
- Comprehensive private healthcare
- Free access to Spill mental health and wellbeing support
- Company pension scheme
- Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave
- Growth Shares, giving employees an opportunity to share in the long-term success of the business
- Fully paid-for annual company weekend
- Structured development and genuine progression opportunities
The firm's flexible approach is a key part of its culture, with many employees working flexible hours or part-time. The focus is on creating working patterns that work for both the individual and the wider team.
If you're an experienced conveyancing paralegal looking for a genuinely modern, supportive and flexible place to build your career, we'd love to hear from you.
