Conveyancing Completions Manager

Bath/ Bristol

£35,000-£40,000

Be the Driving Force Behind Seamless Property Completions.

The best conveyancing teams don't just rely on great fee earners—they rely on exceptional people behind the scenes who make sure every transaction completes smoothly.

We're working with a leading South West law firm that's looking to add an experienced Conveyancing Completions Manager to its specialist completions team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of residential conveyancing and wants to play a key role in ensuring transactions are completed efficiently, registrations are progressed without delay and clients receive an exceptional service.

Working across the firm's Residential Property and Residential Development teams, you'll become an integral part of a collaborative completions function supporting high-quality legal work across multiple offices.

Why This Role Stands Out

This isn't a traditional conveyancing support role.

You'll join a dedicated completions team where your expertise is genuinely valued, giving you the opportunity to focus on what you do best—coordinating completions, managing post-completion processes and ensuring every matter reaches a successful conclusion.

You'll work alongside experienced property professionals within a firm that has built its reputation on collaboration, professional development and delivering outstanding client service.

With a hybrid working model and a genuine commitment to employee wellbeing, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term stability and career development within a highly respected legal practice.

The Role

As part of the South West Completions Team, you'll support Residential Property and Residential Development teams across Bath and Bristol, ensuring transactions progress efficiently from completion through to registration.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing completion packs, completion statements and supporting documentation
  • Coordinating completion monies and liaising with lenders, developers, solicitors and clients
  • Processing completion funds in accordance with firm procedures
  • Preparing and submitting HM Land Registry applications, including AP1 applications
  • Managing Land Registry requisitions and monitoring registrations through to completion
  • Serving notices on landlords, management companies and other third parties where required
  • Supporting new build and plot sale registrations
  • Assisting with mortgage discharges, redemption statements and retention matters
  • Maintaining accurate records using the firm's case management system
  • Supporting continuous improvements to completion and post-completion processes

About You

You'll already have experience working within residential conveyancing and enjoy the detail-oriented nature of completions and post-completion work.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience within residential conveyancing
  • Experience of completions and/or post-completion processes
  • A good understanding of HM Land Registry applications and registration procedures
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to strict deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with a professional, client-focused approach
  • Confident IT skills and experience using case management systems

Experience with SDLT submissions, Land Registry requisitions, new build transactions, lender portals or the Solicitors Accounts Rules would be advantageous but isn't essential.

The Package

  • £35,000–£40,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)
  • Join a collaborative specialist completions team
  • High-quality residential property and development work
  • Genuine long-term career development within a growing Top 100 law firm environment

Benefits Include

  • 26.5 days' annual leave plus Bank Holidays
  • Profit share bonus scheme
  • Hybrid and flexible working
  • Comprehensive learning and development programmes
  • Healthcare and wellbeing support, including an Employee Assistance Programme and healthcare plan
  • Enhanced pension
  • A genuinely collaborative and inclusive culture
  • Opportunities to get involved in wellbeing, ESG, charity and diversity initiatives
  • Clear opportunities for long-term career progression within a supportive business that invests in its people

If you're looking for a role where your organisation, technical knowledge and attention to detail will have a real impact, we'd love to tell you more.
