An established and reputable law firm in Yeovil is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join its growing property team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, delivering a high standard of client care while supporting the continued development of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion
- Advising clients on sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and new build matters
- Dealing with freehold and leasehold transactions, including shared ownership and Help to Buy
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, title documents, and associated conveyancing paperwork
- Conducting due diligence, searches, and raising and responding to enquiries
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to progress matters efficiently
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, firm procedures, and quality standards
- Providing clear, practical, and timely legal advice with a strong focus on client care
- Contributing to business development and maintaining positive client relationships
