The Role
As a Residential Property Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. Typical responsibilities will include:
- Handling all aspects of residential property transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, new build transactions, and transfers of equity.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and other legal documentation.
- Carrying out property searches and title checks, and reporting on findings to clients.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth and timely progress of transactions.
- Providing clear, client-focused advice and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and firm procedures.
