The Role
Based in the firm’s Bridgwater office, the successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, with an emphasis on probate. The role will involve handling files independently while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload including Probate, Wills, and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Handling both straightforward and complex estate matters, including taxable and non-taxable estates
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high level of client care
- Using case management systems and technology effectively
- Supporting the continued development of the department where appropriate
The Candidate
The firm is keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Experience in a Private Client fee earning role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- The ability to manage their own caseload with minimal supervision
- Confidence in handling complex matters efficiently
- Experience in trusts and Court of Protection work would be advantageous but is not essential.
