On behalf of our client we are seeking a motivated and well-organised Administrator to join their team in Sidmouth. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual at the beginning of their administrative career or someone keen to progress within the legal sector. This is a full-time, office-based role, working closely with the Honiton legal team as well as supporting the Senior Receptionist. While some previous experience in an office environment is preferable, full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Sidmouth legal teams as required, including tasks such as file opening, file closure, and ongoing file management.
- Undertake general office-based administrative duties, including (but not limited to) handling post at the start and end of each day, scanning incoming correspondence for each department, managing banking and petty cash, purchasing office supplies, and assisting with tasks to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
- Assist with the accurate storage, logging and retrieval of Deeds in accordance with internal systems and procedures.
- When required, welcome visitors to the office in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring the relevant team member is notified promptly.
- When required, answer incoming calls via the centralised telephone system, handling queries promptly, politely, and efficiently, taking clear and accurate messages, and directing calls as appropriate.
- Process card payments and verify identification for visitors when necessary.
