We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and highly respected regional law firm with offices across Devon. Known for its friendly culture, strong community roots and high standard of client care, our client offers an excellent working environment for conveyancing professionals who enjoy autonomy and quality residential work.
The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer with a minimum of two years’ experience handling their own caseload. You will manage residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, working largely unsupervised while being supported by a wider, collaborative property team. Your caseload will typically include:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Re-mortgages
- Transfers of equity
- Right-to-buy matters
- Registered and unregistered land transactions
- Liaising with estate agents, lenders, brokers and clients to progress matters efficiently
This role is ideal for a conveyancer who enjoys taking ownership of files and delivering a smooth, client‑focused service throughout the entire conveyancing process.
About You
- At least 2 years’ residential conveyancing experience (Solicitor, CLC, CILEx, or experienced fee‑earner)
- Confident handling your own files with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and a calm, organised approach
- Client‑focused with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team
