Are you an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer looking for the opportunity to manage your own caseload within a specialist and growing department? Our client is seeking an experienced Personal Injury File Handler to join their busy Military Deafness team based in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer to take ownership of a caseload of Military Deafness claims and play a key role in progressing matters through litigation.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of Military Deafness claims from inception through to conclusion, including the preparation and conduct of litigated matters. Successful candidates will be expected to work independently and confidently issue and progress court proceedings where required. You will be supported by your own Legal Assistant, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent outcomes for clients.

- Conducting litigation and issuing court proceedings
- Advising clients throughout the claims process
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Negotiating settlements where appropriate
- Maintaining high standards of client care

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with practising rights
- Previous experience handling Personal Injury claims
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
- Experience of litigating claims and issuing proceedings
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Excellent organisational and case management abilities
Desirable Experience
- Military Deafness claims experience
- Industrial Disease and/or Industrial Deafness claims experience
- Experience working within a high-volume claimant Personal Injury environment

Working Hours
