Our client, a well-established law firm based in Newquay, is seeking a motivated Law Graduate to join their team as a Legal Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to gain hands-on legal experience with a view to securing a future Training Contract. The firm is keen to support ambitious individuals who are committed to developing a long-term career within the legal profession.
The successful candidate will support fee earners within either the Conveyancing or Family Law department (depending on preference).
Responsibilities- Assisting with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, third parties and other professionals
- Opening and maintaining client files
- Conducting legal research where required
- Supporting fee earners with day-to-day case management
- General administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the department
This role would suit a proactive and organised Law Graduate who is eager to learn, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and has excellent communication skills.
