We are working with a well-established and respected law firm who are looking to recruit an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join their busy and growing property department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and personable solicitor who enjoys managing their own caseload, building strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of service.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a caseload of residential sales and purchases, including freehold and leasehold properties.
- Handling remortgages, transfers of equity and new-build transactions.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and associated legal documentation.
- Raising and responding to enquiries.
- Reviewing searches, mortgage offers and title documentation.
- Managing exchanges, completions and post-completion matters.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors.
- Maintaining accurate files and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients.
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in residential conveyancing.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident managing deadlines and competing priorities.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
