Are you a Family Solicitor looking to build your career in beautiful Cornwall, combining rewarding client work with an excellent quality of life?
A well-regarded high street practice with offices in Newquay and Wadebridge is seeking a Family Solicitor to join their friendly and dedicated team. You’ll be working closely with the Managing Partner, a highly experienced family law specialist, providing valuable support while developing your own caseload.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys client contact, advocacy, and variety, and who is passionate about helping families navigate sensitive and complex issues.
The Role
You’ll manage a broad range of family law matters, including:

Public and private children law
-
Divorce and separation
-
Financial remedy cases
-
Domestic abuse and injunction proceedings
-
Legal Aid and privately funded matters
The firm undertakes Legal Aid family work, but there is also strong potential to develop and grow private family and children law instructions, with full support from the management team.
About You

Qualified Solicitor (ideally 2+ years PQE) with experience in family law

Confident managing a mixed caseload of public and private matters

Able to handle advocacy and build strong client relationships

Keen to develop private client work alongside Legal Aid work

Passionate about delivering a high level of service within a supportive, community-focused practice
