On behalf of our client, a reputable law firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its growing Dispute Resolution Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled lawyer to handle a varied and stimulating caseload, working under the guidance of senior members of the team, including the Director and Head of Dispute Resolution. The department undertakes a broad spectrum of work encompassing commercial litigation, property and construction disputes, contentious trusts and probate, and commercial property litigation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a specialism in one or more of these areas while contributing to the continued growth of the team.
This is a full-time, permanent position based at the firm's Kingsbridge office, with flexibility to work remotely.
Experience and Expertise requiredApplications are welcomed from Solicitors or Legal Executives with approximately five or more years of post-qualification experience (or equivalent). Candidates with substantial preâqualification dispute resolution experience as a caseâhandling paralegal will also be considered.
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess significant knowledge and handsâon experience of litigation within the County Court and/or High Court.
- Have experience in some or all of the following areas:
- Commercial landlord and tenant disputes
- Commercial litigation, including joint venture, shareholder, and partnership disputes
- Propertyârelated disputes, including easements, restrictive covenants, boundary disputes, adverse possession, and property damage claims
- Residential possession claims
- Contentious trusts and probate matters
- Construction and building contract disputes
