Our client, a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm, is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join its growing litigation team based in Exeter.

The successful candidate will join a busy and well-established litigation team, working alongside experienced colleagues on a broad range of matters. The firm is expanding its employment law offering and is keen to appoint someone who can play a key role in this development.

Candidate Requirements

  • Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with approximately 3–5 years PQE in employment law.
  • More senior candidates with strong business development experience, an existing client following, or interest in broadening litigation expertise may also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload while contributing to the growth of the employment practice.
  • Focus on business development in the early stages, building relationships and generating new work.
  • Participate in wider marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Contribute to the team’s overall success.

Working Conditions

The role is primarily based in Exeter, with an expectation of office attendance for at least three days per week. Hybrid working is available following a successful probation period or once fully integrated into the team. There may be occasional travel to other offices for client meetings and marketing activities.
