A reputable law firm based in Plymouth is seeking an experienced Compliance Solicitor to join its team on a six-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will support the firm in ensuring regulatory compliance across all practice areas, with a particular focus on property-related matters.
Responsibilities
- Oversee internal compliance processes and conduct file reviews.
- Provide ongoing guidance to fee-earners and support staff on regulatory obligations, risk management, and best practice procedures.
- Assist in reviewing and updating firm policies and ensure adherence to the SRA Standards and Regulations.
- Maintain robust and effective compliance frameworks across the firm, with emphasis on property-related matters.
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience, specifically within property law.
