A highly regarded law firm with two offices across Devon is seeking a talented and driven Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis. The firm offers flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working, allowing the successful candidate to balance office and remote work.

The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of commercial litigation matters, working with both local and national clients, including businesses of all sizes. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and progress a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, professional negligence, and debt recovery.
- Provide clear and practical advice to clients on a range of commercial disputes, ensuring they are well-informed and supported throughout the process.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm’s two offices to share knowledge and ensure clients receive the best possible service.
- Contribute to the firm’s business development efforts, including networking and marketing initiatives.
- Keep up-to-date with developments in commercial litigation law and contribute to the firm’s knowledge-sharing culture.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in Commercial Litigation work (3+ years PQE required).
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in a wide range of commercial litigation matters.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively.
- Proven ability to manage a busy caseload and work under pressure.
- Strong drafting skills with attention to detail.
- A team player with the ability to collaborate across different offices.
- A proactive and client-focused approach to legal work.
- Experience in business development and client relationship management is desirable.
Qualifications:
- Solicitor Qualification (essential).
- Experience in Commercial Litigation law (essential).
