On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dedicated and professional Commercial Solicitor to join their legal team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice and support on a broad range of commercial matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and assisting with the drafting and negotiation of contracts. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic organisation, contributing to high-profile commercial projects and developing strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply contracts, service agreements and partnership arrangements.
- Providing clear, strategic legal advice to internal teams on commercial law matters.
- Conducting legal research to remain up to date with relevant legislation and industry developments.
- Managing contractual negotiations and disputes with clients, suppliers and partners.
- Ensuring all contractual documentation complies with statutory requirements and organisational policies.
- Collaborating with other departments to support efficient contractual processes and minimise legal risk.
- Maintaining accurate and organised records of legal documentation and correspondence relating to commercial activities.
- Qualified Solicitor holding a current practising certificate.
- Demonstrable experience in commercial law, ideally within a corporate or organisational environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to non-specialists.
- Strong IT proficiency, including experience with legal management software and document management systems.
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills to ensure compliance and accurate record keeping.
