Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join their thriving Agriculture & Rural Property team in Wells.
The Role This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and collaborative team advising a diverse client base of farmers, landowners, estates, rural businesses and private clients across the South West.
Your work will include: Sales and acquisitions of farms, estates and rural land.
Agricultural tenancies.
Rural land development and diversification projects.
Succession planning support.
Agricultural finance and security matters.
Managing a high-quality caseload while building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Working closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver seamless legal advice.
About You The successful candidate will be a technically strong and commercially minded Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a genuine interest in the rural sector.
You’ll ideally have: At least
5 years’ PQE in Agricultural Law, Rural Property, Commercial Property or a closely related discipline (applications from more experienced lawyers are also welcomed).
Strong technical knowledge of property transactions.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
A collaborative approach, while also being confident managing your own workload.
Commercial awareness and a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset.
Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members would be advantageous.
