This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor with a background in maritime, marine or shipping law to join a respected practice and handle a varied and interesting caseload.
The Role:
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of maritime matters and provide clear, commercially focused advice to a range of clients operating within the marine and maritime sectors.
Depending on experience, the caseload may include:
- Maritime and shipping disputes
- Marine commercial matters
- Vessel-related disputes and transactions
- Marine insurance matters
- Contractual and commercial disputes
- Claims arising from marine incidents
- Advising businesses and individuals operating within the maritime sector
- Supporting and developing existing client relationships
- Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the department
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with previous experience in maritime, marine or shipping law. Applications are welcomed from experienced candidates who are confident managing their own caseload and developing strong relationships with clients.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and client-care skills, strong commercial awareness and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
