We are working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm that is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial & Data Protection Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded legal professional to work with a varied client base, handling interesting and often complex matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage their own caseload while working alongside experienced colleagues on a broad range of commercial matters.
The Role:
Responsibilities will include:
- Advising on a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements.
- Providing specialist advice on data protection and regulatory compliance.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial and IT contracts.
- Advising on intellectual property and technology-related matters where appropriate.
- Supporting senior colleagues with complex transactions and projects.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Contributing to business development activities and the continued growth of the department.
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with approximately 4+ years' PQE.
- Have a strong background in commercial law, particularly data protection and IT contracts.
- Be confident managing their own caseload and advising clients independently.
- Have excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- Be commercially aware, organised and proactive.
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience in commercial contract management, procurement or intellectual property would be advantageous.
