The firm is looking for a motivated and experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Fee Earner to join the team. You will be responsible for managing a full caseload from instruction through to completion, providing exceptional client care, and supporting the firm's collaborative, values-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of residential conveyancing work in line with firm procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver a high standard of client service, keeping clients informed at each stage of their transaction.
- Achieve agreed targets for billing, time recording, and other key performance indicators.
- Ensure all client information and documentation are handled confidentially and securely.
- Manage credit control on your matters with support from the firm's Accounts team.
- Build strong relationships with clients, referrers, and external organisations to support business growth.
- Stay up to date with changes in conveyancing law and practice through ongoing professional development.
- Supervise and support your conveyancing assistant through regular reviews and mentoring.
- Contribute positively to departmental meetings and the wider firm culture.
Requirements
- UK Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced Fee Earner with a proven track record in residential conveyancing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and approachable manner.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and manage a busy caseload efficiently.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems (experience with Proclaim is an advantage).
- A genuine team player who values collaboration, respect, and professionalism.
