About the Role
We are working with a rapidly growing law firm based in Manchester, specialising in consumer financial litigation. The firm represents individuals in high-profile claims against lenders and financial institutions, including Plevin/PPI, motor finance, and secret commission claims. This is a great opportunity for a Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years PQE who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about achieving justice for consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a litigated caseload independently across Small Track, Fast Track, and Multi Track claims.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, skeleton arguments, and settlement proposals.
- Prepare trial bundles and ensure all cases are trial-ready.
- Pursue disclosure and analyse complex financial documentation.
- Supervise and support paralegals and junior team members.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent client care.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
- Experience in consumer, contract, or financial litigation.
- Proven ability to manage a litigated caseload to a high standard.
- Strong drafting, research, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Proactive, professional, and a collaborative team player.
