About the Role
We are working with a well-established and supportive law firm based in Leicester City Centre that is looking to expand its family law department. This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Solicitor or CILEX with 2 - 3 years PQE who is passionate about family law, advocacy, and delivering high-quality client care. You will handle a mixed caseload of legal aid and privately funded matters across all areas of family law, with opportunities for courtroom advocacy and career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of family matters, including:
- Divorce & separation
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Injunctions
- Children matters (public & private)
Requirements
- Family Solicitor or CILEX with 2 - 3 years PQE.
- Strong advocacy skills and confidence attending hearings.
- Experience with both legal aid and private family law matters.
- Ability to manage a mixed caseload independently.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and client care skills.
- A proactive and empathetic approach to client work.
