About the Role
We are working with a reputable law firm seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join their busy and supportive team in Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated conveyancing professional with experience in residential property work who is looking to progress their career within a well-established Legal 500 recognised firm. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting senior conveyancers and managing client relationships throughout the transaction process.
Responsibilities
- Supporting a senior conveyancer with all aspects of residential transactions.
- Preparing and issuing draft contracts.
- Managing sale files and handling client paperwork.
- Dealing with enquiries, ordering and checking property searches.
- Checking mortgage offers and assisting with title checks (experience preferred but not essential).
- Liaising directly with clients, estate agents, and lenders.
- Managing completion and post-completion processes.
- Providing administrative and team support where needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a residential conveyancing department is essential.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage a busy caseload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident IT user with experience using case management systems.
- A proactive, professional, and collaborative team player.
- Business development experience is desirable.
