The Senior Practice Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, direction, and oversight of the clerking teams. They will support and work with the Director of Clerking to provide leadership and strategic direction in practice management, business development, marketing, and team management. Acting as a central figure in Chambers, the Senior Practice Manager will ensure efficient and effective service delivery to barristers, clients, and staff while driving Chambers’ growth and reputation.

Person Specification
- Proven experience in a senior clerking or senior practice management position within a Chambers or similar legal environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commercial acumen with expertise in fee negotiation, financial oversight, and business development.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- In-depth understanding of the legal sector and regulatory obligations.
