An award winning South Wales law firm is looking to recruit a Public Law and Human Rights Solicitor to join its growing team in Swansea.

The Role
- Manage your own caseload of public law, human rights and judicial review matters.
- Advise and represent clients in legally aided cases involving public authorities.
- Assist with inquest work, including Article 2 inquests where appropriate.
- Prepare cases, draft applications and attend hearings.
- Work alongside colleagues across Legal Aid and private client teams to deliver a seamless service for clients.
- Develop relationships with local organisations, charities and referral partners across Swansea and the wider South Wales community.
- Play an active role in promoting the department and supporting its continued growth.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in public law, human rights and or inquests.
- Experience of managing legally aided matters is essential.
- Legal Aid Supervisor status.
- Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
- Passionate about access to justice and achieving positive outcomes for vulnerable clients.
- Excellent communication, advocacy and client care skills.
- A collaborative approach with a desire to contribute to a positive and supportive working environment.
