A global technology company is seeking an experienced Investigations & Regulatory Litigation Counsel to support its in-house legal team on a contract basis. This role will focus on managing business-critical regulatory investigations and litigation related to online content, consumer protection, child safety, and artificial intelligence. This is an excellent opportunity for a UK or Ireland–qualified attorney seeking impactful in-house work at the forefront of digital regulation, platform safety, and emerging AI frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage regulatory investigations and related litigation matters involving online content, consumer protection, child safety, and AI governance
- Respond to regulatory inquiries and oversee disputes across UK and EU jurisdictions
- Engage with evolving legislative frameworks, including the UK Online Safety Act, EU Digital Services Act, and EU AI Act
- Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory risk, enforcement exposure, and compliance considerations
Qualifications
Education & Admission
- Qualified solicitor or barrister in the UK or Ireland
- In good standing with relevant professional regulatory bodies
Experience
- Litigation and regulatory defense experience involving digital platforms, content, or consumer protection
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex matters and drive cases forward (not solely in a support role)
- Experience engaging with UK and/or EU regulatory bodies strongly preferred
- Prior in-house experience a plus, but not required
