A high-growth design and SaaS technology company is seeking an experienced Commercial Counsel to support its EMEA commercial legal team on an interim basis. This is a full-time contract role providing short-term coverage, focused on managing a high volume of strategic enterprise customer agreements.
- Review, draft, and negotiate enterprise commercial agreements with strategic customers across the EMEA region.
- Negotiate data privacy terms, including DPAs and SCCs, as well as AI-related contractual provisions.
- Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance to facilitate deal closure.
- Identify and escalate legal risks while maintaining deal momentum.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of in-house commercial legal experience, ideally within a SaaS or high-growth technology company.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume contracting workflows with minimal supervision.
- Strong experience negotiating data privacy and AI-related contractual terms.
- Qualified solicitor or equivalent legal qualification in a UK or EMEA jurisdiction.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with commercial and executive teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Additional EMEA language skills.
