A leading global technology company is seeking a Global Ethics Investigator / Legal Investigations Counsel to support its Global Ethics & Integrity team on a contract basis. This role is well suited for a qualified lawyer with experience conducting workplace, ethics, compliance, employment, or regulatory investigations in complex multinational environments.
This engagement will involve independently managing lower-risk investigations from intake through resolution, while also supporting senior legal and investigations team members on more complex, sensitive, or higher-risk matters.

What You’ll Do:
- Independently manage and conduct ethics, integrity, workplace, and compliance-related investigations from intake through resolution.
- Conduct interviews with complainants, witnesses, subjects, and other relevant parties, ensuring accurate and well-organized documentation.
- Apply legal and investigative judgment to assess facts, credibility, policy implications, and potential risk areas.
- Perform legal, regulatory, and factual research to support independently owned and team-led investigations.
- Support senior team members on complex, sensitive, or higher-risk investigations involving employment, ethics, compliance, or regulatory concerns.
- Prepare clear, factual, and well-structured investigation summaries and reports for internal legal and business stakeholders.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records within case management systems.
- Partner with HR, Employee Relations, Compliance, and other cross-functional stakeholders as needed.
- Handle all matters with a high level of confidentiality, discretion, independence, and professionalism.
What You’ll Bring:
- Qualified lawyer in the UK or Ireland — Solicitor, Barrister, or equivalent practicing qualification.
- 5+ years of experience conducting ethics, workplace, employment, compliance, regulatory, or internal investigations.
- Experience managing investigations independently, including interviews, evidence review, documentation, factual analysis, and report preparation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within a large technology, multinational, or highly matrixed organization.
- Prior in-house legal, employment, ethics, compliance, or investigations experience.
- Familiarity with case management tools such as NAVEX, ServiceNow, Relativity, or similar platforms.
