Legal.io is working with a leading technology company who is seeking an Infrastructure Counsel to help with data center projects in EMEA. This is a 40 hour per week position and is fully remote within the UK/EU.

- Pay Rate: $100 - $112 / hr
Job description:
Project Description: Support EMEA infrastructure expansion, with a particular focus on planning, land use, development and environmental permitting in relation to hyperscale datacentre projects. A successful candidate will have experience in permitting large infrastructure processes in EMEA jurisdictions and familiarity with EU environmental review processes.
- Provide strategic advice on planning, zoning, and environmental permitting
- Draft and negotiate development agreements
- Advocate changes to streamline permitting
- Manage external counsel
- Contribute to templates, playbooks, and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Substantive Law Experience: 5–8+ years PQE with experience in real estate, planning, and environmental law, ideally with large infrastructure projects.
- Law firm, government, or in-house experience acceptable.
- Jurisdictions: Must be licensed as an attorney to practice in the UK or a EU member state.
