We're looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Multi Asset Product team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded product professional who enjoys working across complex investment products, influencing a wide range of stakeholders and helping to deliver innovative, client-focused solutions. Whilst experience in Multi Asset is beneficial, we're open to candidates from broader public markets product backgrounds, including fixed income, index or other investment strategies.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the design and delivery of new investment products and product enhancements across multiple product structures
- Managing product launches, amendments, mergers and closures throughout the full product lifecycle
- Coordinating cross-functional projects and bringing together stakeholders from Investments, Distribution, Operations, Risk and Compliance
- Developing and maintaining robust product governance processes and ensuring regulatory requirements are met
- Reviewing product ranges and identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes and commercial performance
- Providing technical product expertise on fund structures, regulations, disclosures and operational considerations
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, service providers and external partners
- Presenting recommendations and updates to governance committees, boards and senior stakeholders
Who we’re looking for:
- Significant experience in investment product management within asset management
- Strong knowledge of UK funds and pooled investment structures, including UCITS, ETFs and other fund vehicles
- Experience managing the full product lifecycle, from development and launch through to ongoing management
- Commercial awareness and the ability to connect product decisions with client and business outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across a range of seniority levels
- Experience delivering complex projects and managing competing priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present confidently to committees and senior stakeholders
- A collaborative, curious and adaptable approach, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering results
Benefits we offer:
- The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
- Generous pension contribution
- Life assurance
- Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
- At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
- Competitive family leave
- Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
- There are many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
- We’re creating net‑zero carbon workplaces by 2030 by investing in our sustainable, modern offices across the UK, all designed to bring people together and elevate the in‑person experience
At L&G, we believe it's possible to generate positive returns today while helping to build a better future for all. Guided by leaders with integrity who care about your future and wellbeing. Empowered through initiatives which support people to develop their careers and excel. We care passionately about outcomes rather than attendance and are therefore open to discussing all kinds of flexible working options including part-time and job shares. Although some roles have limited flexibility due to customer demand, we accommodate requests when we can. It doesn’t matter if you don’t meet every single criterion in this advert.
